We bought a house from them 2 years ago and have no complaints! We did have an issue about 6months or so after purchasing, but unlike most contractors, Mr. And Mrs. Macklen came out quickly and addressed and fixed the issue promptly. We love our new Macklen home!!! We first saw our new home in August while visiting South Carolina. It was the 5th home to see of the day. As soon as we looked at the house, it felt like home. It was everything we could have wanted. A quality brand new build and a beautiful lot. From the beautiful master bathroom with a huge tiled walk-in shower and double sinks to the luxury vinyl flooring all throughout the house, to the absolutely awesome kitchen with tons of cabinets, an incredible island and the stainless steel appliances, our new home is perfect. The three bedrooms are perfectly sized, am amazing laundry room, a nice guest bathroom, and not one, but 2 pantry closets!! My husband loves his two car garage and who can forget my favorite - the front and back patios. If you are looking for quality and a great build, Macklen Home Builders is who you want. He came over more than a year ago and put up a metal roof on my house, after he left the roof was leaking more than before, he even put his foot through my ceiling and sid it was a nail that did it, .... Well now my screen porch is leaking in different areas....not recommended See more See less
